Scope/Applicability: Crowcon Detection Instruments Suppliers and Customers.
We continue to monitor closely the developments relating to the spread of COVID-19 and the recent change in status and advice given by the UK Government. Our priorities continue to focus on ensuring the well-being of our employees and to provide continuity of supply and support of lifesaving equipment to our customers.
I would like to confirm, that all our manufacturing facilities are functioning normally in a Covid secure manner and we have no current supply issues relevant to the virus at this time. Our large stockholding is mitigating this risk and our Supply Chain teams continue to work hard to ensure raw material orders reflect current demand and that our suppliers are communicating any potential challenges to us with plenty of warning.
However, the situation is constantly evolving & we will provide further updates as needed if the risk to direct impact for our customers is seen to increase.
We have a robust continuity plan in place and a highly engaged workforce who continue to work and support our customers. Crowcon products keep people and plant safe; this includes those working to ensure key infrastructure (Water, Energy, Telecoms, Pharmaceuticals) continues to run trouble free.
As a group member of Halma plc, we have a strong parent company ensuring long term financial stability & are working closely with their local incident management teams. These teams are holding regular reviews to assess risk/impacts and as a result taking timely mitigation actions across a range of key areas including;
- Employee – welfare
- Continuity of supply – products & services
- Transport and logistics
- Customer commitments and support
